Project Overview
Our client, a platform in the food delivery sector, was facing challenges managing orders across multiple devices, which led to confusion and missed orders. They needed a solution to handle all orders from a single device and ensure a seamless experience for both customers and operators. In addition, they wanted to integrate third-party services like Foodora and Wolt to manage external orders in a centralized system. We worked closely with them to redesign the system, streamline the order management process, and integrate key delivery platforms, ensuring a unified, efficient, and user-friendly experience for both customers and the internal team.
Process
The project began with a complete UI/UX redesign aimed at creating a more intuitive platform that would allow the client to manage all their orders from one place. The main goal was to eliminate the need for switching between devices, thus reducing errors and improving overall workflow. We then focused on developing and integrating a robust order management system that could consolidate all incoming orders into a single platform, allowing the internal team to handle orders, track their status, and update delivery information in real-time.
To further enhance the platform, we integrated third-party delivery services such as Foodora and Wolt, ensuring that the client could manage orders from these platforms alongside their own, reducing complexity and creating a more unified system. Lastly, we optimized the backend of the platform, ensuring it could handle the increased data flow and support real-time order tracking. The system was rigorously tested to ensure that all functionalities worked seamlessly, and the platform performed consistently across devices, even during peak times.
Result
Streamlined interface and real-time tracking capabilities not only enhanced the user experience but also reduced errors, allowing the client to manage all orders more effectively. With the integration of Foodora and Wolt, the platform was able to centralize all order sources, making the process smoother for the team and reducing complexity. The client gained better control over their order management, minimizing missed orders and delays, and ultimately improving customer satisfaction and operational performance.
